We visited the centro salud (health center) in El Guayabito (my town here) the other day. It was a cool experience. These nurses and doctors are in the frontlines. They take care of the town. In the above video, the nurse is explaining the benefits and side effects of vaccines to the moms. The cute baby lives in the house and we brought her for pentavalent DPT/Hib/HepB(?) shot.

Here’s a video from yesterday. It was independence day and we marched from in front of the house to the kids’ school. It was hot but fun. It was roughly an hour and 45 minute parade. Enjoy! Miss you all.

This is his interpretation of “50 ways to leave your lover” originally by Paul Simon and here performed by Filipino artist Bamboo. Will post his latest film “Food, love, and marriage” as soon as he uploads it.

…in tumblr or flickr. I thought I hadn’t posted anything on tumblr since coming back from Geneva but lo and behold I have roughly 13 pages of tumblr posts. hehe! Will rectify this at some point. Can’t do it right now though. I’m currently praying to finish this essay I need to submit to apply for a rotation in Uganda. I wonder if it’s God’s will for me to go for...
